It seems to me that the majority of people I see complain about having a slow metabolism. After having a conversation with them and after asking a few questions I have to agree with almost all of them that they do in fact suffer from a slow metabolism. - Get at least 7 hours of sleep each night.
- Drink plenty of water, at least half your weight in ounces of water. If you weigh 200 pounds you should be drinking a minimum of 100 ounces of water. First thing in the morning start off with a tall glass of water to get the metabolism going and also to flush toxins out off the body.
- Eat small meals every 3 hours.
- Ensure you have a lean protein with each of those meals.
- Eat plenty of vegetables throughout the day.
- Eliminate refined sugars
