It seems to me that the majority of people I see complain about having a slow metabolism. After having a conversation with them and after asking a few questions I have to agree with almost all of them that they do in fact suffer from a slow metabolism. So what I want to share with you is 6 things you can do right now to jump start that sluggish metabolism of yours and turn it into a fat burning machine, that is if you choose to do them.

Now I must warn you these steps are simple, in fact so simple that you might not believe they can make such an impact on your metabolism. However, I am here to assure you they most certainly will if you just implement them in your life.

  1. Get at least 7 hours of sleep each night.
  2. Drink plenty of water, at least half your weight in ounces of water. If you weigh 200 pounds you should be drinking a minimum of 100 ounces of water. First thing in the morning start off with a tall glass of water to get the metabolism going and also to flush toxins out off the body.
  3. Eat small meals every 3 hours.
  4. Ensure you have a lean protein with each of those meals.
  5. Eat plenty of vegetables throughout the day.
  6. Eliminate refined sugars
